We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Motherhood Is...

Pure Joy! It's 5:00 am and I'm up feeding the twins, who are, ( and I can't even believe I am saying this), almost three months old!!! I have been enjoying my three little men so much! This is just a quick photo post to capture the little  moments of these three little guys throughout the day that make me so happy to be their mama ...before long, they will all be grown men and I know I will miss these days! :) I love mornings at our house!

Big brother just waking-up, morning sillies!

Joey and Jake snoozing together in Mommy and Daddy's bed. Joey is at the top and Jake is at the bottom!

All three of my boys. My heart smiles when I see this picture!
It is my prayer that they always remain this close!

Finally, just for laughs...
Today, I gave Robbie a potty sticker. He has been given stickers to wear when he does a potty. Well, I guess he decided to share his potty sticker with his brother! We have been talking a lot about sharing! Ha! :)

Yesterday was such a gorgeous summer day! I decided to get the kids outside to enjoy a picnic lunch in our yard! We set-up blankets and a tent and enjoyed cool, refreshing grapes, pretzels and hummus!

So much fun enjoying the simple life!

Consider the joys and rewards of the job. Psalms 127:3 says: “Lo, children are a
heritage of the Lord: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.” I stumbled upon this and it rings so true,  "What other job produces a final product to compare to that of motherhood: loving children who will someday mature to productive, God-fearing men and women? If women will not sacrifice in their younger years to raise children, they will not have those children and grandchildren to hug their necks, love them, and care for them in their older years". Stay strong mamas and make the most of today with your littles!
Blessings,
