We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Son Of God

Happy Monday Everyone! Not much happening over here. I might have overdone it this morning with a trip to Home Depot and Ross in search of items for our house. I am suffering for it now, with VERY swollen ankles Ha! :) I wanted to share with you about a movie that comes out this Friday, "Son of God"! I can't wait to go see this! Rich and I are planning a little date night this Friday. I am off of bed rest now, because the twins are safe. So, if they don't make an appearance between now and Friday, I'll be watching Son of God.

The movie "Son of God" was created by Mark Burnett and his wife Roma Downey. After watching the preview, I know it is going to spectacular!  Here is a brief synopsis as well as a clip;

"Now, the larger-than-life story of The New Testament gets a larger-than life treatment in the stand-alone feature SON OF GOD. Told with the scope and scale of an action epic, the film features powerful performances, exotic locales, dazzling visual effects and a rich orchestral score from Oscar winner Hans Zimmer. Portuguese actor Diogo Morgado portrays Jesus as the film spans from his humble birth through his teachings, crucifixion and ultimate resurrection. It marks the first motion picture about Jesus' life since Passion of the Christ, released ten years ago."

After studying the book of Matthew this year with my BSF study, I have all of these stories from the Bible fresh in my mind and can't wait for Friday!  I hope you all get a chance to see this movie.

Robbie-isms

My little man is 33 months old... I can't even begin to believe that he will be three years old in May! I have been keeping a list of some of the adorable little things he says, sayings or word mis-pronunciations. Here are some of my favorites from the month of February;

Corn Puppies

We got fast food the other night and I ordered mini corn dogs for Robbie. This is something he loves, but has rarely had. Once we were home and had finished with dinner, Robbie said; "Mommy, I loved those corn puppies, they were so yummy."
Adorable!!

Chicka-Wawa

Robbie loves small small dogs and calls them "puppy dogs" which I just love! The other day we saw the most adorable little puppy dog and Robbie asked what kind of dog it was? I told him that that particular dog was a Chihuahua. Robbie said in the cutest little voice; " Oh Mommy, I know a Chicka-Wawa." :)

Earlier in the month we were making our Valentine's Day cards to send to our family and friends and Robbie said; " We have to make these cards and send them to all of our friends and family to make them happy. People like to see my picture because it makes them happy."

I love you sweet pea and will keep all of your little Robbie-isms in my heart forever!

Blessings Friends,
