We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

28 Weeks... Twin Update

I'm 28 Weeks

Third Trimester !!!
Well, I have made it to my third trimester with these twins!
Below is a picture of me 28 weeks pregnant with Robbie on the left and 28 weeks with Jake and Joey on the right. So happy and thanking God for every minute these babies stay put.

My how I've grown!

Again, I have fallen behind. I turned 28 weeks last Sunday. I had a  routine doctor appointment this afternoon. The boys look really good! Both of them weighing in a little under 3 lbs. I seem to be doing well, but am still on strict bed rest. My doctor said we would be out of the woods with the pregnancy in the next 4 to 5 weeks. The doctor said she suspects I will go into labor around 33 weeks on my own, and if not, we will just take it week by week until I reach 36 weeks, when we will then schedule a C-section. So please friends, keep praying these boys stay in as long as they can!

Each baby is the size of an Eggplant.

So let's see.. 28 weeks has brought about many feelings and emotions! I find myself crying at
The Humane Society commercials. My feet get so sore at night. It is unbelievable to me that my tummy can stretch any more than it already has!
I now waddle when I walk. Oh and my heartburn is fierce!

I have been craving Country Fried Streak and mashed potatoes!
To bad we don't live near a Cracker Barrell. :(

My best moments this week have been feeling these babies wiggle and kick each day. I love listening to my sweet little boy sing to his brothers and rub lotion on my tummy.
Overall, life is good and I feel so incredibly blessed!

Thank you again friends for all of your thoughts and prayers!

Blessings,
