We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Pregnancy Update 26 Weeks

Well, today I am 26 weeks into my pregnancy with these sweet little baby boys! Due to my bed rest and Christmas, I haven't put up a weekly update post since 23 weeks. I didn't get around to taking a 24 week picture, but here are my 25 and 26 week photos.

Below, is my comparison photo of my pregnancy with Robbie at 25 weeks compared to the twins.

Here is the comparison picture at 26 weeks between Robbie and the twins!

I am still on bed rest and imagine I will be for quite sometime. I don't mind it at all, I am just so happy to be cooking these two little boys. I am praying to keep these baby boys safe and sound for at least another eight or nine weeks! I know that I can do all things through Christ Jesus who strengthens me! :) Please keep us in your prayers.
I have another ultrasound on January 2nd.
Pregnancy Highlights at 26 Weeks:

How Far Along: 26 Weeks and counting! I can't wait to meet these boys!!!
I will have my 4 guys with me, celebrating Christmas and the New Year next year at this time; So EXCITING!

Size of Baby: Jake and Joey are each the size of  a head of lettuce.. They are 13.6 to 14.8 inches long. and weigh about 1.5 to 2.5 pounds each.
Baby Development This Week: At long last they can see!
For the first time ever, their eyelids have finally opened, (remember: they were fused shut previously) and he's probably having his first moments of sight as you read this (or maybe it already happened while you were brushing your teeth or browsing the Internet or something).
In addition to taking their first visual impressions of his comfy amniotic-filled studio, your little
human-beans recently acquired the ability to move their head around.
That's right, if your child were clever enough (which they're not - yet), they could engage in that most basic of non-verbal communication - the head shake/nod. Not to mention, gawking!
In further anti-alien developments: your little super star’s head hair is starting to grow in!

Maternity Clothes: lounge wear!

Gender: TWO BOYS!!! Jacob Jonathan Christensen and Joseph Michael Christensen

Movement: So much movement lately!!!Last night while laying in bed reading before falling asleep, Rich was holding my tummy and one of the babies kicked so hard that I think it shocked us both!

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well but getting up several times throughout the night to use the bathroom.

What I miss: Ugh!!! I would LOVE a great BIG sub sandwich!

Cravings: Cuties tangerines sparkling flavored water.

Symptoms: Just tired and feeling HUGE! Love these babies and thankful for each and every day that God keeps them I place.

Best Moment this week: I love listening to the conversations that Robbie has with his brothers in my tummy! He already loves them so much and that warms my heart!
 Fun With Daddy

Daddy and Robbie have been having lots of fun together since Mommy has been on bed rest. I found a few educational learning apps for toddlers that I recently added to my Kindle. Robbie has been having the best time doing these games of alphabet puzzles and shapes.
It is fun for me to curl-up in bed with him and enjoy our time together!
Thank you again, Grandma and Grandpa Christensen for our Kindle!

Robbie got a really cool alphabet train puzzle for Christmas from Grandma Carla.

Daddy and Robbie set-up the 10 foot puzzle the other night and they had a ball!

I have been blogging, watching lots of movies and reading.

I just added this book to my Kindle last night and I am enthralled! I am already 30 pages into it.

Well that is all for me today friends.
Blessings,
