We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

The Fruits of The Spirit

Hello friends! Have you ever received a lovely fruit basket, filled with ripe, gorgeous, plump fruit? I received one for my wedding. Well, today I am going to talk about the fruits of the spirit. They are as follows; " But the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control." These fruits are not only refreshing, but they are also eternal. I think I have the following fruits; love, goodness, faithfulness and self-control. I would like to work on attaining patience and gentleness. Please share with me which fruits you think you have and which fruits do you strive to attain? God bless you all my lovely friends! I can't wait to see who wins the first comment gift tonight! Goodnight. :)

When I am making Bible reading and prayer a part of my daily life, I know that God is blessing me with the "fruits of the spirit". Sometimes, though, when I let myself become preoccupied with other concerns; I realize that these qualities seem to slip away fairly quickly. I think they must be the natural ouflow of letting the work of the Holy Spirit be the top priority in our lives. So...right now faithfulness is the one I long for the most.
