Matron of Honor Day

On Saturday my friend Summer (who is newly engaged) invited me to her mother's home for brunch. Summer also invited a few of her other girlfriends. During the brunch Summer asked each of us to be in her wedding in a very special way. Seated at our plate was a beautiful black photo book album. We were each given our own. Enclosed in this album were different pictures of Summer with me throughout our many years of friendship on one side of the page. On the other side of the page there was a picture of Summer holding a chalkboard with different questions and sayings on them. At the very end of the album the last picture was of Summer holding a chalkboard asking me to be her Matron of Honor for her upcoming wedding next summer. I was honored, thrilled and so deeply touched!

The brunch that Summer's mom Judy made was outstanding. Judy out did herself once again! We had Italian salads which included a roasted tomato, basil and mozzarella salad along with a garlic garbanzo bean salad, homemade bread sticks, quiche and watermelon mojitos!! Just to name a few. Oh and a scrumptious berry cream dessert! Thank you Summer for asking me to be your Matron of Honor!! :)

Blessings,

Sarah
