We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

A Lunch With Grandma Carla

This afternoon my mother in-law Carla took me out to lunch to a fabulous little Greek restaurant called Saca's Mediterranean Cuisine in the Claremont Village. We both ordered a tasty lunch and enjoyed sitting outside on this beautiful sunny, crisp California winters day. We talked about my husband Rich and our little one on his way. I loved hearing all the baby stories about Rich.

After lunch Carla surprised me and took me shopping to buy my little Robert's bassinet/ Pack N' Play. What a fun afternoon for me to write about in Robert's baby book! Thank you so much Grandma Carla for baby Robert's bassinet and the memorable day! :)

It is a great thing that you get along with your in-laws! I know so many people that don't. I love my own in-laws, so I get to share in the joy of those kinds of moments! :D Hooray for Grandma Carla!
