We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Hello... Can You Hear Me?

I'm in California dreaming about who we used to be ... Hello, my lovely readers...
Oh, how I have missed you. It has been far too long since I've sat down to write in this space. Do you recognize the words to the title of this post?  Lyrics from the great Adele! I love her! I don't know what it is about her, but she seems so real and true to herself. Adele is who she is and she doesn't make any promises, excuses or apologies. I feel that if Adele and I were to meet, we would instantly hit it off and become friends.  We would have a squad of besties. Let's see... there would be me, Adele, my best friend Summer and James Corden from The Late Late Show. We would probably get together on the weekends chat, sing a little and enjoy a glass of wine or two.  Well at least in my mind!

There is something so dear and so fulfilling about writing out my thoughts here in this space and sharing who I am with all of you. Writing helps me unwind at the end of a long day. Well, writing and a nice hot bath!

We've started Robbie back in soccer this month. Oh how he loves his Soccer Saturday mornings!
We are planning to enroll him in AYSO in the fall. For now, he is doing a few private soccer clinics.

Homeschooling:

We are so blessed to be involved in a wonderful homeschool Coop with such a good group of mothers and children. We love our Little Lambs Pre-school Coop. We meet every Friday morning.
This month, I am in charge of the crafts. Here is a little St. Patrick's Day craft that I had the children make last Friday.

Well friends, it's getting late and time for me to get some sleep. It feels good being back here with you all. :) Thank you for blessing my life. I'll see you tomorrow, same place, same time.

Blessings,
 Sarah
