We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Friday

Well, it is almost 4:00 a.m on what is now Saturday morning and I can't sleep.
We had our almost nine week check up this afternoon. I was so very grateful that Rich had the day off and was able to go hear his twinie's heart beats. Thank God, all was well. Another ultrasound was done today, and the baby's little, itty bitty hearts were beating away at the rate of 181. The Doctor said this is great news. I am extremely nauseous on a daily basis, with very high progesterone levels; which is good news as well. I am still assigned to light bed rest and low activities throughout the day.
Robbie has been a trooper. I know he misses our long morning walks.

We are experiencing a super heat wave (ugh!)

Every night before Robbie goes to sleep, just after prayer time, he whispers, "Mommy, I uv, (love) you and I'm never going to let you go". I cherish these precious little years.
I am so grateful to Auntie Becky, my mom's sister and to Auntie Summer. Summer calls me quite often to check on me. She has a huge schedule and many responsibilities of her own, and yet finds time for us. (Such a loyal friend) and Aunt Becky brings Robbie clothes, goodies and toys. The other day, she brought Robbie a steering wheel that plays music, has a horn, signals, and a little road that moves as you drive it. He is so happy with it and pretends to take us all to Disneyland and the zoo with it.
I have been at my mom's house resting and something exciting happens there every day. There is a family of owls in one of her trees and many crickets and birds.
Robbie enjoys our evening symphonies!

Blessings,
