We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Seeking Him Daily

Good morning friends . . . well, it is still morning here on the West Coast. Today, I wanted to share a simple devotion that really hit home for me this morning. It is from my favorite devotion book; "Jesus Calling".

June 20th

" I SPEAK To YOU CONTINUALLY. My nature is to communicate, though not always in words.
I fling glorious sunsets across the sky, day after day after day.

My beautiful view during my walk this morning . Praise God for all he has created!

I speak in the faces and voices of loved ones. I caress you with a gentle breeze that refreshes and delights you. I speak softly in the depths of your spirit, where I have taken up residence.

You can find Me in each moment, when you have eyes that see and ears that hear.
Ask My Spirit to sharpen your spiritual eyesight and hearing.

I rejoice each time you discover My presence. Practice looking and listening for Me during quiet intervals. Gradually you will find Me in more and more of your moments.

You will seek Me and find Me, when you seek me above all else."

Psalm 8: 1-4; Psalm 19:1-2; 1 Corinthians 6:19; Jeremiah 29:13

Have a blessed day!

To Sarah:
Thanks for sharing, what a beautiful testament to Jesus' presence and promise "I will be with you ALWAYS to the very end of the age". And always remember Jesus saying "If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also". But don't worry, the day will soon come when the Lord will be exalted and every knee will bow:
“Crawl into the caves in the rocks and hide in terror from his glorious majesty, for the day is coming when your proud looks will be brought low; the Lord alone will be exalted. On that day the Lord of Hosts will move against the proud and haughty and bring them to dust… All the glory of mankind will bow low; the pride of men will like in the dust, and the Lord alone will be exalted. And all idols will be utterly abolished and destroyed” (Isaiah 2:10-18)

lOVE - JOY- PEACE -PATIENCE - GOODNESS -KINDNESS -GENTLENESS- fAITHFULNESS, AND SELF CONTROL. Many are called, but few are chosen.
PRAY FOR GOD'S GRACE ON THE UNBELIEVER'S stone hearts.
You can love your enemies (through Christ's love) Pity them with compassion and sincere prayers. Your blog gives me joy, Sarah! I look forward to it each day! You are quite an accomplished woman. Just tell non-fans to "flee and get behind thee"

I fling glorious sunsets across the sky, day after day after day -- AND --- I ALSO fling death and famine across Africa and many other places.
