Yummy Baked Penne

<

Tonight I made baked penne. It was warm, cheesy and comforting to the soul! Here is the recipe I know your family will love!

Baked Penne

Prep Time: 15 min
Cook Time: 20 min

Serves: This casserole actually serves about 5 people per 9x13 baking dish. However, with the above ingredients I was able to make two casseroles and freeze one. So, for the amount of ingredients you could easily feed 10 people for under twenty dollars!!

Ingredients:

1lb ground turkey
1/2 pound ground Italian Sausage
2 jars of marinara sauce
about 2 to 2 1/2 cups shredded cheese. ( I chose to use a blend of Italian five cheese by Kraft, it included Mozzarella, Parmesan, Asiago, Romano and Provolone)
One 1 pound box of Penne pasta

Directions:

First boil the pasta
Combine the sausage and ground turkey in a pan and brown the meat
Take the meat, pasta and sauce and combine into a large 9x13 baking dish
Now, add some of the cheese mixing throughout the pasta
Finally, pour more cheese on the top of the pasta to create a nice cheesy crust
Place baking dish in the oven and cook for 20 min at 325 degrees

Enjoy! :)

Blessings,
Sarah
