We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Project 365 One Photo A Day January 28th

It's Friday already!!! Here are my pictures from this week. I chose a theme for my photos this week of Nature In The Morning. We have been having gorgeous weather here in Southern California, almost spring like! Each morning I took a photo when I first woke up. The photos are all of something outside in nature. Each photo is to glorify all the beauty the Lord has surrounded us with!

My Theme Verse For The Week:

"Trust in the Lord and do good; dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture. Delight yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart." Psalm 37: 3-4

I delighted myself in the Lord's handiwork each day this week. I would like to share what I viewed each morning at my parent's home.

Saturday January 22nd, Oranges from our friend's tree!

Sunday January 23rd, One of my Mom's cats watching me from the window.

Monday January 24th, These beautiful flowers in my Mom's Garden are blooming as if it were spring!

Tuesday January 25th, A view of the mountains from my Parent's living room.

Wednesday January 26th, Violets that bloomed early this year.

Thursday January 27th, Another Beautiful plant.

Friday January 28th, A little pond in my parent's backyard.Blessings,

Sarah

Rich,
Thanks for serving. I know those of us enjoying the freedom in the States don't know the sacrifices you guys make. "Thanks" doesn't seem sufficient, but I don't know what else to say.

Sarah,
Thanks to you also. The sacrifices of military wives must be as strenuous in some ways as for the guys who serve. I have done 3 or 4 military marriages in the last couple of years (I am a minister) including for my niece. In her case, her husband already completed a couple of tours and isn't supposed to go back. For two others, they went right after the honeymoon. I gotten to visit with some of them about the difficulties.

So, thanks. And God bless.
