We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

22 Weeks Pregnancy Update

I'm 22 Weeks !
Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 22 Weeks and counting!

Size of baby: Little Robert is the size of a papaya. 10.5 to 11.8 in long and weighs about 12.7 to 20.8 oz.

Baby Development This Week: Watch what you say -- baby is now able to hear outside noise from down in the womb. Studies show that baby finds gentle music and your own voice most soothing. Nipples are starting to sprout, and that little face is fully formed. And, baby's starting to settle into sleep cycles, snoozing about 12 to 14 hours a day. It shouldn't be hard to figure out when -- just pay attention to those kicks as they start and stop.

Maternity Clothes: I wear maternity jeans and pants but everything else is regular. Love those stretchy leggings and jeggins!

Gender: It's a Boy!!! Robert William Christensen

Movement: I've been feeling the baby a lot more lately and higher in my belly.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well, thanks to my awesome pregnancy pillow!

What I miss: Ugh!!! I would LOVE a great BIG sub sandwich!

Cravings: Cuties tangerines!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Symptoms: Trouble getting out of bed in the morning while laying flat on my back. ha ha :) Also, a little shortness of breath in my ribs.

Best Moment this week: So far just praising the Lord for this sweet little guy! Everyday I wake up so grateful to be having this baby! I am also enjoying a set aside time everyday where I play classical and praise music for the little sweet pea.
