The past month of July has been very busy for us. Rich has started ground school (Primary) for flight training, and I have been heavily involved with my Junior League new membership commitments. I finally had some time this afternoon to sit down and catch up with our blog! Rich and I had a fantastic Fourth of July! We spent the day with friends. We started off the day with an early afternoon cookout at our friends The Cole's house. We enjoyed burgers and BBQ! In the later afternoon we headed out to one of Rich's (fellow Marine flight student) friends house for more food and fun. Finally, we ended the day with more friends as we watched fireworks out on the river! Spending the fourth with fellow military families and friends reminds me of how blessed we truly are to know these men and women who are willing to give up their life for our freedom! I am blessed everyday when I wake up and my feet hit the floor to be an American living in a free country! We need to remember that freedom isn't free! To all our friends and family scattered throughout the states, Rich and I hope you all enjoyed your Fourth of July as much as we did!
