Today I went with a group of girlfriends to go blueberry picking! This was such a fun experience, and something that I had never done before. We all drove up to a farm about twenty minutes from our homes. When we arrived at the farm we were greeted by wild turkeys, chickens and horses.


It was around 96 degrees and a very sunny, warm day. We made sure we were well hydrated and got to work! My friend Megan was a blueberry picking professional !!! I mean this girl taught us how to reach way up in the tree to search for the best berries. We had so much fun!!!



By the time I was done picking the blueberries I had about a gallons worth! We stayed for about two hours and finally left because a thunderstorm was rolling in off in the distance. We loved it so much we are planning on going back to pick more later on in the summer and make jam.


It was a great day full of fun and new experiences. :)
