This week we were invited by Major Burks (who is the Fat Albert C130 pilot for the Blue Angels) to come out to the airfield and watch them practice. Rich and I also invited our friends the Poynters. We had such a great time watching the Blue Angels practice especially from such a close distance. It was also so exciting to meet each of the Blue Angels , and have our picture taken with them after! Perhaps the best part was watching the look on my husbands face when Fat Albert flew right over him! :) We had a perfect day and are so thankful to Major Burks for giving us the privilege!
