We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

14 Weeks Pregnancy Update & More ...

Okay, so here I am at 14 weeks pregnant with Robbie in November of 2010...

and here I am today at 14 weeks pregnant with the twins in October of 2013!

Pregnancy Highlights This Week:
How Far Along: 14 Weeks and thrilled!

Size of Baby: My little twins are each the size of a lemon or about 3 1/2 inches long and weigh about 1  1/2 ounces.

Babies Development This Week: This week's big developments: My  babies can now squint, frown, grimace, potty, and possibly suck their thumbs! Thanks to brain impulses, their facial muscles are getting a workout as their tiny features form one expression after another. Their kidneys are producing urine, which they release into the amniotic fluid around them — a process they'll keep up until birth. They can grasp, too, and if you're having an ultrasound now, you may even catch them sucking their thumbs.

Maternity Clothes: I wear maternity jeans, pants and some tops. I LOVE anything stretchy or drawstring at this point along with stretchy dresses.

Gender: Not sure just yet! We can't wait to find out who God is blessing us with!

Movement: I can feel little butterfly movements from both of these little cuties, most often at night.  I first started feeling them move around 10 weeks.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty well, thanks to my awesome pregnancy pillow! But boy oh boy is round ligament pain a REAL thing! Ouch!!

What I miss: Let's see... just like with my first pregnancy, I really miss deli sandwiches!!!

Cravings:  Love, love Chinese food!! Oh my goodness, I could eat it all day! ( probably not the best thing for me, so I try to limit it) . :)

Symptoms: The morning sickness is SOOOOO much better now!!! I mean a world of difference! I feel a fullness in my tummy in the evenings.

Best Moment this week: Love all the little butterfly bubbles I feel!

Message to Twins From Mommy: Hello my little twins! I am so excited and feel so grateful to God that we have been blessed with two little babies growing in my tummy! We all can't wait to meet you! Keep on growing little one's just like you should!  Love, Mommy

Because we're talking pregnancy, I found this photo on Pinterest and I absolutely love the look! Great maternity fashion for Fall or Winter !

What else is new ? It's Monday and boy did we have a full weekend of birthdays and Baby Showers! On Sunday, my good friend Erin, had a baby shower as we all prepared to welcome her sweet little baby girl, Elizabeth into the world! Also on Sunday, my husbands sweet cousin Kim and her husband celebrated their dear little boy's first birthday! I couldn't make it to both, so we split and Rich went to the birthday, and I attended the baby shower.

Above is my friend Erin, the Mama to be. Here is Erin with her beautiful Mom and sisters!
You ladies gave a wonderful shower!

My mom made Erin this adorable little doll, (pictured above).

Our little Robbie love to trot around with his white horsey that GiGi made him. We made this gray one for my husband's little cousin. He has real horses at his house. Since he is just one, we are hoping that he will enjoy many hours trotting around with this broomstick horse.

I love Fall. I am starting to prepare for Christmas which will arrive before we know it. My mom and I are brainstorming our project ideas. Meanwhile, we are getting heating and air in our home and we are deciding on lighting with our electrician. Decisions, decisions that will have to be responsibly made!
Please share if any of you are into creating gifts for Christmas. I would so love to hear/post about it.
Happy rest of the evening. Monday, Monday, I love this day that the Lord has made!

Blessings,
