We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Wednesday Is Duck Dynasty Night

Lets cuddle and watch duck dynasty

It's Wednesday again and everybody happy, happy, happy!
It's Duck Dynasty Night in America!

Anyone out there love Duck Dynasty as much as I do? My hubby came back home from an almost one year deployment and hadn't heard of this SHOW!!!!

I know... what was he living under a rock or something??? Well... pretty close, I guess! :)

I proudly introduced him to Duck Dynasty and at the end of the first episode,( which I had so faithfully DVR recorded), he just stared at me. "Well I said??? What do you think? Don't ya just love it?"
Rich looked puzzled and said; "I mean, I just don't get why of all people you would be into this kinda show?"

Not only are the duck men of Wednesday night HILARIOUS, but they hold themselves to a high moral standard . The duck men believe Jesus to be their Lord and savior and are diligently raising families who do the same.

Here is an article I came across;

Jase and his wife Missy Robertson haven't been shy about living their faith on their hit TV reality show, "Duck Dynasty." They share about their faith in God and how they're using their popularity to reach people for Christ in interviews.

3. What attracted us to each other was what we saw in each other in our faith. --Missy Robertson
4. We simply want to follow God because we knows of the happiness it will bring, that's the reason that we chose to be open about our beliefs. --Jase Robertson
5. We were both virgins when we got married until our wedding night. We decided to do it God's way and basically had a godly agreement that we would help each other get to heaven. --Jase Robertson
6. It's a great testimony because we're like, 'Look, we don't do this because we're representing some organization. We do it because we trust in God and we believe that his way is the better way, in all things in life. --Jase Robertson
7. A lot of people just think that that's unreasonable or preposterous. But you know, if everybody chose to do it God's way, the world would be a lot better off. --Jase Robertson
8. We have our core values as a family, and we've kept them, that's our number one priority is making sure our kids know that so they also will have the same values, no matter what circumstances come your way. --Missy Robertson
9. The bottom line is we are trying to do what's right. We don't just say we believe in God — we have active relationships with God. --Jase Robertson
10. I'm going to use whatever God blesses me with as a platform to tell the world that God is for you. He proved it through sending Jesus down here to die for us and be resurrected. And for us that gives us second chances and it gives us hope, and so we spread that message everywhere. --Jase Robertson.

Making The Most Of Each Day: I have watched Duck Dynasty and could not get into it. After listening to this video, I am very impressed with the honesty, humility, and Christianity of these people's lifestyle. I will try to watch it again tonight. Sarah, your taste has always been challenging to me. You sometimes see what I don't see. Philippians 4: 11-13: "In whatever situation, I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need. I can do all things through Him who strengthens me."
