We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

your blog is so great! Would you maybe consider doing a post about life on a military base? My husband is also in the marine corps and we've been talking about him trying to go active if/when he can. I always ask him about what it's like living on base but I just get general answers. I think it'd be interesting to hear a first-hand point of view of it! Also, I know it's not Sunday but I'd like to share a prayer request with you. Our baby boy is still in the hospital...he's 6 weeks today. (he was born 10 weeks early) Anyway, the dr. says that he may have a hernia and will have to have surgery before he can come home... would you mind please praying for him that God will heal it so he doesn't have to have surgery! He's been doing so great so far...There have been a lot of people joining us in prayers. I know that with God, it is possible! :)

Hi there Ami!
I am Sarah's mother, Robin.
I am praying for your baby boy.
Just ask God to take away anything that is not in His perfect will.
Sometimes we are given diappointments that in actuality; are God's divine appointments. Claim Jesus' name and blood that He shed so we can live a life according to His will.
I will pray for instant healing, but mostly, because God knows the future in His omnipotence;I pray for His will for your precious son.
I pray for you to have perfect peace no matter what happens. Stay in faith that your heavenly father is right there with you if you ask Him to be, and IF , big IF, you trust and obey God, He will NEVER leave or forsake you!
Psalm 33:18 "But the eyes of the Lord are upon those who fear Him (respect) On those whose hope is in His unfailing love.
We wait in hope for the Lord; He is our help and our shield. In Him our hearts rejoice, for we trust in His Holy name."
Blessings dear girl!
Sincerely, Robinbird

You both are so sweet! Thank you so much! I'm at the hospital with Gabe right now waiting to hear what the Dr. has to say this morning. we definitely appreciate all of the prayers- We've definitely seen God at work with our son since he was born!

Sarah, you have a beautiful family as well! That baby boy of yours is too cute! I'm excited to hear about life on base! My husband & I are actually planning a trip to Cali for late next year- He wants to take us to Camp Pendeleton and a few other places as well. He says I'll never want to come back to Illinois after visiting there! :)

I'll probably be emailing you soon. It'll be nice to have someone to share prayer requests with as well as to talk to!

Thanks again Ladies! You both are so sweet! God Bless you both!
Love, Ami
