We thank you for taking the time to visit our blog.

My husband and I are a young, growing, Christian, military family. My husband is a Captain in The United States Marine Corps. I am a former Elementary school teacher. We are first time parents to a beautiful little two year old boy, with twin boys on the way! I am a stay at home Marine wife, who loves to bake, cook, sew and craft! I enjoy being a Domestic Engineer. The purpose of this blog is to document the story of our life and adventures as they take place.

We are honored to be serving our country and ask for prayer in our upcoming adventures. We have been blessed tremendously, and thank God everyday for all he has given us!

Italian Sausage Stuffed Mushrooms

Happy Friday! Today, I am linking up with Kelly at http://www.kellyskornerblog.com/ to share one of my favorite appetizers with you all! This recipe for stuffed mushrooms came from my Junior League cookbook. I know you will love these delightful little treats! Enjoy! :)

Stuffed Mushrooms

Makes: 50

Ingredients:

1 pound bulk Italian sausage

1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded Parmesan cheese

8 ounces cream cheese

50 whole mushrooms

Directions:

Brown the sausage in a skillet, stirring until crumbly; drain.

Remove from heat.

Add the Parmesan cheese and cream cheese and mix well.

Rinse the mushrooms and pat dry.

Remove the stems from the mushrooms.

Spoon the sausage mixture into the mushroom caps.

Place in miniature muffin cups sprayed with non-stick cooking spray.

Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes or until light brown.

Blessings,
Sarah
