Today is a very exciting day at our house. Later this afternoon I will have my 20 week Doctors appointment, along with my 20 week ultrasound. I am always so excited at any chance I get to have an ultrasound, because it means I get to see my baby! Today, is a very special ultrasound where we will be able to find out if we are having a little boy or a little girl! I honestly feel so blessed to be having this baby, that I don't care what we are having boy or girl. I just want a healthy , happy baby!
Last night laying there in bed, feeling this little one kick away, a song came to my mind. The name of the song is "He Knows My Name". I can remember learning this song in church and singing it at most of the chapels throughout high school. I have always loved the song and it has had different meanings to me at different times in my life. Last night the words of this song were so comforting . It became another reminder to me that the Lord knows the name of our baby. He formed this child's heart. He knows who this child will be, since the beginning of time. Rich and I have dedicated this child to the Lord since we found out we were having him or her. I can't wait to find out who this little person is and who they will become! I'm ready for whoever God wants to bless us with boy or girl! :) We will keep you posted as soon as we know! Hope you enjoy this song. It will have a different meaning to all of us, which is part of it's beauty. Have a great day everyone!
Blessings,
Sarah
To hear song please pause blog music on lower right side of blog.
You formed my inward parts;
You covered me in my mother’s womb.
I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;
Marvelous are Your works,
And that my soul knows very well.
My frame was not hidden from You,
When I was made in secret,
And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth.
Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book they all were written,
The days fashioned for me,
When as yet there were none of them."
Psalm 139:13-16
