A Night At The Theater

Yesterday, my best friend Summer invited my Mom and me out for a night on the town! :) Summer received four tickets to see the play production of "Steel Magnolias". Anyone who knows me knows that I have this love of the South and southern culture. One of my most favorite movies in the world is "Steel Magnolias". In fact I think I know the movie a little too well because I know just about every line of each of the characters! So, you can imagine my excitement when sweet Summer received these wonderful tickets.

We started out the evening with a wonderful Italian dinner at Summer's Mother Judy's home. Judy is an adorable woman! I have know her almost my whole life. Her house was decorated just perfect for the Christmas season. Her food as always was impeccable! After dinner we all headed out to see the play. I had a fabulous time! The talented actresses in the production portrayed each of their characters with such style and precision. Summer and I were laughing at all the same parts ( I love her sense of humor because we have the same timing, and we can always tell what the other person is going to say !)

"Steel Magnolias" is all about the sisterhood of friendship and I am so thankful for Summer, she is such a great friend!
