A few weeks ago my friend Audra (another Marine wife as well ) and myself took an eight hour training course to receive our concealed weapons license. I found the course to be very helpful. Before the class I had never shot any type of handgun, and to be honest I was a little intimidated of the idea. After the class I am now confident in my ability to shoot a handgun, I really enjoyed shooting a Glock17! Audra and I were in the classroom for a total of four hours, and out on the range in Alabama for another four hours. The class was not only extremely helpful in the areas of gun and shooting techniques, but also as a self defence course as well. I feel confident, empowered and well informed! :) Can't wait to get out on the range again!
