Charming Little Sunflower Fence

Happy Fruitful Friday Everyone! When we moved into our home, I noticed this sad little sunflower fence along the side of my house. They had been covered with dirt and were faded and rusted with age. I saw their potential and just knew I could find them a cozy little home in my flower garden!

I washed them and scrubbed them with a wire brush. Then I painted them with acrylic paint. I found some of the rust to be charming, giving them character! So, I painted them lightly and then sponged on a pea green over the rust on the bottom stem of the sunflowers.

Now these cheerful little sunflowers grace my garden and brighten my day! :)

Enjoy Your Friday!!!
Blessings,
Sarah
